Gerardo Zavala

Gerardo obtained a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and is currently completing a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology at Harvard University. He studies the prodrug-activating peptidases by a combination of cryoEM, cell-based, and in vitro biochemical assays. In his free time, he enjoys board games, hiking around the Northeast, and movie nights.
